How long have you been in business?
Young Home Inspections has been in business for 25 years now.
What is your primary product or service?
We primarily do Residential Pre-Purchase & Pre- Sale Home Inspections accompanied by Insurance inspections like 4 Point & Wind Mitigation.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Well we owned a construction company for over 15 years and when the recession hit and the banks quit lending money we had to think outside of the box and figure out a way to combine our years of professional working experience and put them to use in a new direction. Our backgrounds in office management, construction, insurance and marketing all seemed to fall into place with the Home Inspection Industry! And we couldn't be happier, it was a perfect fit not only with experience, but with our personalities and personal fulfillment, we love the work, we love helping people, we love our job!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The longevity of our company, our A+ rating with the BBB, our A rating on Angie's List, we have won the Super Service Award from Angie's List 14 out of the last 15 years running that means you are in the top 5% of your field and we are #1 on Angie's List so we are at the top of the top 5%. But it really is our willingness to go the extra mile. The customer service that you get. Someone always answering the phone. Not to mention the knowledge and thoroughness of our inspectors. Each being trained the same way since the company was founded, consistency in quality and product. There is also the timeliness in which our Clients receive their reports - the NEXT day! That is what sets us apart. Our motto has always been, "Setting the Standards of Building Inspections".
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
No we don't want to expand. We are a locally, family owned and operated company covering all 8 counties of the Tampa Bay Area. This is our home and where we live and work. This is where we have done business for 25 years and where we will continue to do business God willing 25 more! We have inspectors centrally located in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties so they can go north, south, east or west in a flash.

We are like I said before centrally located in 3 counties. We do everything electronically and by phone. Our business comes to the client.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept personal checks, all major credit cards and cash.
Which areas do you service?
We service all 8 counties of the Tampa Bay area, Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough, Polk, Hernando, Citrus, Manatee, and Sarasota counties.

Office: 7:30am - 6:00pm, Inspectors work per their assignments.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
You did our home inspection on our last house and we want you to do one again on the new house we are buying!
